All our plants are Devon grown and include old favourites and the unusual. We draw from numerous small specialist nurseries across Devon.
Owing to restrictions on space we do not have an A-Z plant centre but we do have fabulous seasonal displays throughout the year with knowledgeable and helpful staff always on hand.

Bedding Plants
Do your Geraniums look like this ? This is a typical sight of Geraniums that have suffered due to the wet weather. Why not try Begonias or New Guinea Impatiens instead who cope much better in these conditions.
.
Begonias- one of our favourites- available from May to July, we always recommend them. In either cascading or upright form. The ones shown in the photo were planted in June in fresh multi-purpose compost, watered and fed regularly and are now over 12" high and won't be out of flower until the frosts. Rain or shine they easily out-perform Geraniums, especially this wet summer! They cost £1.99 each and the corms formed can be kept for next year for an even bigger plant.

New Guinea Impatiens- They come in a wide range of colours are are available from May to July at the Garden Shop for £2.99. The one pictured here (now over 12" or 30cm high) was planted at the end of May and will continue flowering until the first frosts. Watering and picking off the dead flowers is all that's needed.
Alpines
Alpines loosely describes a wide range of plants some of which are true alpines and many others which are just good for rock gardens, sinks, stumps and other small spaces etc.
Climbers
Ferns
Conifers
Herbs
A fantastic selection is usually in stock, especially throughout the summer months. All are grown organically peat free.
